To the right of the entrance is the Polestar logo, a symbol for the new EV brand being a guiding star for the Volvo Car Group based in Sweden. The name Polestar In Swedish is Polstjärnan, which means North Star, or Polaris. The literal translation meaning "Pole Star".

When we originally visited the Sottsdale Fashion Square Mall to take a look at the new Polestar 2 EV on display back in 2021, there was only a single black model on display, parked down in the main atrium comon area with a simple sales table showing interior samples.
In Spring of 2022, Polestar moved into their own permanent showroom inside the upscale mall. Called the "Polestar Space", it is the first Polestar retail showroom to be opened in Arizona. It is operated by Courtesty Automotive Group of Scottsdale, a Polestar Franchisee.
The new showroom features some of Polestar’s latest luxury models and opportunities are available to schedule a Polestar 2 test drive, either thorugh the sales specialist on-site, or by scheduling online. Polestar has their own reserved space in the nearby parking gargae with multiple charging stations available exclusively for their test drive cars and for current Polestar EV owners.
The newest model of the Polerstar EV lineup, the highly anticipated Polestar 3 SUV, was not on display at the time of this visit, but is expected that one could be coming to the showroom for visitors to see within the next few weeks.
The current showroom features room for three cars to be displayed letting customers explorer the various upgrade packages and design choices. Their are also wall displays allowing visitors to inspect Polestar's technology components up close (Brembo brakes, spoke polished alloy wheels, dual chamber active air suspension), and a dedicated area for exploring design options on computer tablets.
Each Polestar vehicle comes with the luxury of convenient service and maintenance. Owners who live within 150 miles of Polestar Scottsdale can have their vehicle picked up for service and returned home, and for those outside that perimeter, a Polestar technician will travel to you to make the repairs needed at your home. It offers a much-needed alternative for those with a busy schedule.

For 2023, six metalic paint finishes are available. Magnesium grey has replaced the previously available Void black paint color selection as the standard choice included in the base price. Snow white, a darker Thunder grey, Jupiter beige, Midnight blue, and Space black are available as an upgrade.

The Polestar 2 in front is a version with the Plus package with UV glass roof. It has the Michelin E Primacy tires mounted on 19'' Bespoke 5-Double Spoke Black Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels.

The Polestar 2 was the first car to feature a native Android Automotive operating system. The driver and front can browse the web, use in-car apps, stream music and podcasts, get real-time traffic information and download the latest software updates all through the touch screen display panel.

Suspension improvements in the performance pack upgrade includes Öhlins two-way dampers, which increase traction and responsiveness. The dampers are manually adjustable through 22 different settings according to each driver's prefereneces.
All versions of the Polestar 2 come equipped as standard with frequency dependent damping suspension components. This smooths out high-frequency wheel motions caused by rough roads and reduces vehicle body motion and noise for a more comfortable ride without compromising grip, steering response and overall handling.

Aero sculpted Brembo performance brakes on the Polestar 2 performance pack upgrade feature lightweight aluminum construction, four-piston calipers, in an eye catching copper gold color. They offer heightened stopping performance and optimised energy regeneration for the electric drivetrain system.
The brake system was especially developed by Brembo for the Polestar 2. They performance pack brakes are stiffer, provide uniform braking pressure and braking power, and are more responsive than normal brakes, even at extreme temperatures. The dual-cast floating ventilated brake discs have a diameter of 375 millimeter and a width of 35 millimeter.

The rear trunk of the Polestar 2 is accesed by a fully electric tailgate and features 14.3 cubic-feet of volume, with fold down rear seats and lifting partition / cover. Hidden underneath the rear cover is a bonus storage area.

The front truck (Frunk) of the Polestar 2 offers some additional storage space and contains the car's towing eyelet, tool kit bag, charging cable with adapters, and a tire sealing system.

Every Polestar 2 comes with a charging cable and onboard charger. The Polestar 2 supports rapid DC charging at charging stations supporting the CCS (Combined Charging System) standard. Charging at an AC station is available where a mode 3 charging cable can be connected. The Polestar 2 can use an AC wall outlet for home charging when an extra charge is needed, but is not recommended for regular charging.
Starting in 2025, new Polestar vehicles sold in North America will come standard with the Tesla-designed North American Charging Standard (NACS) plug. Owners of existing Polestars will be able to charge at Tesla's Supercharger stations with an adapter starting in mid-2024.
