Wyse Technology, founded in 1981, was as a manufacturer of text-mode computer terminals and Personal Computers in the 1980's thru early 90's.
Starting in the mid-90's the company become focused on producing thin client (early cloud computing) GUI computer systems. WYSE Technology was acquired by DELL Computer in 2012. Lucite paperweight has a pewter model of a WYSE terminal embedded inside, and reads "You & Wyse".     |
