Specialty: The first company in the world to be established solely for the manufacture and sale of integrated circuits. The largest Integrated Circuit manufacturer during the early & mid 1960's, introduced the first diode-transistor-logic (DTL) integrated circuit in 1962. Made a variety of devices which included Bipolar & MOS integrated circuits, the dolby circuit, logic memory chips and analog circuits.

These vintage earrings were made from 1960's era Hybrid Integrated Circuits manufactured by Signetics. They have their top can removed and the chips, gold wire & circuitry are exposed.

This 8-pin, hybrid integrated circuit contains a large number of discrete transistor and diode chips mounted on a white ceramic substrate with gold traces and gold-plated base with gold pins.

Earrings were assembled into jewelry by the JA Company. Earring wires are gold filled.
