Cleaning with Novus #1 'Clean & Shine'
1. Rinse your item with room temperature water to remove loose dirt or dust. Next, gently wash the item with a mild soap or detergent and lukewarm water.  Use a clean soft cloth or sponge to avoid scratching.  Rinse well and blot dry with a damp cloth or chamois. Do not rub the item excessively or with a lot of pressure when cleaning or drying as this will add scratches to your item and reduce it's luster.

2. To maintain the brilliant luster of lucite, wax occasionally with a good grade of automobile paste wax (Like Turtle Wax). (NOT A CLEANER-WAX COMBINATION.)  Apply a thin coat with a very clean cotton cloth. Next, wipe with a clean damp cloth.  NEVER USE HOUSEHOLD SPRAY WAXES. (Novus #1 Plastic clean and shine, or Brillinaze Cleaner Polisher by Kleemanster can also be used as an alternative to using paste wax to maintain your items brilliance.)

3. To protect against long-term damage, avoid displaying your Acrylic collectibles where they can be exposed to damaging conditions such as direct sunlight (UV damage can cause permanent yellowing or fading) and avoid storing your items where they can be exposed to extreme heat or cold which can cause cracking or warping.
